My Buddy's Boutique
“My Buddy’s Boutique” was created by Buddy's my mom and dad. It all started with my birthday this past November. My mom and dad told me that I needed to start eating healthier and that there was “too much junk” in the treats I was eating now. So…my mom decided that she was going to start baking me my very own gourmet dog treats! Well…not only did I love them…but all of my buddies loved them too!

Save A Yorkie
She had to be kidding!!!!! WHO would have to rescue a Yorkie. It's like saying you have to rescue a Rolls Royce. Who would throw away or abuse one of these adorable little dogs?
Of course there were Yorkies whose owners died and left them with no place to go. As I thought about it, I realized that there were many reasons a Yorkie might need a new home: If a senior went to a nursing home, or a family moved to an apartment or if a military person was deployed overseas, divorce, loss of a job, ..etc. etc. etc. There must be many Yorkies who needed a home. Why hadn't I thought of this? Ignorant and uninformed, I had purchased my boys from a good breeder. But now - I could not rest until I found out more about helping homeless Yorkies.
And so it began. I gave this new mission every bit as much dedication as I had my search for Yorkie information. I found Yorkie rescues in many places. Working with several different rescues, I helped to place dozens of Yorkies. Then my husband suggested that I start my own rescue. The thought overwhelmed me but I couldn't stand the thought of any Yorkie in a shelter, scared and alone.

Going Home Greyhounds
Going Home Greyhounds, Inc. is a non-profit, all volunteer 501(c)(3), tax exempt organization that provides refuge, aid and care for retired racing greyhounds until they are placed in permanent homes. Going Home Greyhounds (GHG) was founded in the summer of 1995 by Jane Drellow and Ruth Patrick. The organization was later incorporated in 1997 and received their 501(C)(3) non-profit status in December of 2001. Jane and Ruth designed the heart and greyhound head profile that became GHG’s logo. Our logo is proudly displayed on the GHG's special edition Pennsylvania state license plate.
The organization currently consists of 4 board members and over 75 volunteers who partake in various activities such as hauling retired racers from racing kennels, bathing newly retired dogs, fostering greyhounds in their home, doing meet and greets, participating in local parades and various fund raising activities.
GHG is a local organization that adopts within a 100-mile radius of the Pittsburgh area. This helps to ensure that we are better able to communicate with our adopters and able to follow the care of our adoptees, because it is important to GHG that both the adopter and adoptee are happy and matched properly for life.

Mid-Atlantic Springer Spaniel Rescue
Mid-Atlantic English Springer Spaniel Rescue (MAESSR) is a non-profit volunteer organization devoted to the rescue and placement of stray, abandoned, relinquished or impounded purebred English Springer Spaniels. MAESSR provides foster care and medical treatment to these Springers while screening potential homes interested in adopting. Our primary goals are to protect English Springer Spaniels, promote spay/neuter programs, and educate the public about the joys of English Springers Spaniels.
MAESSR was formed in May of 1998 by three admirers of the English Springer Spaniel breed. We've covered a lot of ground in the past year. We have had many, many successes, and our share of loss and disappointment. Fortunately, with the help of our wonderful volunteers, other rescue organizations and those who have generously donated funds, we have grown and continue to thrive.

American Brittany Rescue
American Brittany Rescue, Inc. is an organization that was formed in 1991 as a cooperative effort of Brittany owners, breeders, trainers, and fanciers who ABR believes have a responsibility not only for their own dogs and the dogs they produce, but for the breed as a whole.
American Brittany Rescue Mission Statement ABR’s mission is to provide the leadership and expertise via a network of trained volunteers to take in stray, abandoned, surrendered and/or impounded purebred Brittanys, provide them with foster care, health and temperament screening, an opportunity for any necessary rehabilitation and to assure their health and placement into new homes. In order to fulfill this mission, ABR’s volunteers remain flexible and adaptable to current and future business environments and they remain dedicated to the organization.
About Brittanys Brittanys can make wonderful family dogs and excel in many areas, but they are not for everyone. They are active, playful, energetic dogs who require personal attention every day. If you'd like to learn whether a Brittany is a good choice for you, your family and/or your lifestyle, please visit our website (AmericanBrittanyRescue.org) and read Choosing a Brittany. Although many rescued dogs do hunt with their new families, our primary concern is finding homes where they will be a valued member of the family.
